Terms of Service

Last updated: September 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and Streaming Builder for using this website. By continuing to use the site, or by asking us to email you a login link, you agree to them.

1. The service

Streaming Builder is an independent site for comparing streaming services. You choose a region, and the prices, plans, and availability we show are for that region. We are not a streaming provider, and we are not affiliated with the services we list.

You can compare services and keep a watchlist in your browser without an account. An account is only needed if you want that watchlist kept for you across browsers.

The site is free to use. If we later charge for a feature, we will say so before you pay, and these terms will be updated first.

2. Accounts

An account is your email address. We do not ask for a password or a name. We email a one-time login link to that address. The link expires quickly and works once. Opening it signs you in and confirms that you can read mail at that address.

  • Use an email address you control.
  • One account belongs to one email address.
  • You can delete the account from the account page. Deletion stops watchlist sync for that address. You can register the same address again afterwards.
  • We may lock or close an account that breaks these terms, or that we reasonably believe is being misused.

How we handle the email address and other personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.

3. Watchlists

A watchlist is a list of titles you choose, with a status such as want, watching, or watched. Until you sign in with a confirmed email, that list stays in the browser you are using. After you sign in, we store it with your account so you can open it on another browser.

You are responsible for the titles you save. Do not use the watchlist to store anything other than titles you want to track.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Try to access another person's account or inbox.
  • Send login-link requests in bulk, or probe the site for weaknesses.
  • Scrape, copy, or resell the site in a way that harms the service.
  • Use the site for anything unlawful.

5. Comparison information

Prices, plans, features, and where a title is available can change. We aim to keep the information useful, and it can still be incomplete or out of date. Check the streaming service itself before you subscribe, cancel, or rely on a price.

Title and availability information may come from third parties, including The Movie Database (TMDB). Those providers have their own terms. Streaming Builder does not claim ownership of their material.

The words, layout, and original content of this site belong to Streaming Builder. You may use the site for your own personal comparison. You may not copy it to run a competing service.

6. Liability

Comparison results are information, not a recommendation you must follow and not a promise that a service will include a title or a price. We are not responsible for the subscriptions you start or cancel, or for decisions you make from the site.

We do not exclude or limit liability where the law that applies to you does not allow that, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Rights you have as a consumer under the law where you live stay in place.

Where the law allows a limit, our total liability for using the site is limited to the fees you paid us for the service during the 12 months before the claim.

7. Changes and ending the service

We may change these terms or the site. The date at the top of this page will change when the terms change. If you keep using the site after that, the new terms apply. If a change affects an account you already have, we will also show it when you next sign in where that is practical.

We may suspend the site for maintenance or stop offering it. You may stop using it at any time, and you may delete your account.

8. Law

These terms are governed by the laws that apply to the operator of Streaming Builder. You may bring a claim in the courts of that place, or in the courts where you live if the law there lets you do so.
